Alpha Update 2.3

Hello! We've got a new build for Finding Color in the Ashes.

Here is update 2.3! Next update on itch.io will be in a few weeks, but the 2.4 update is already available on Patreon.

The 2.3 build focuses on bringing hirable adventurers into the game - you'll now have some help in keeping the danger levels in the forest in check (as long as you don't mind spending a little gold to get it done).

Outside of that, we have some new art, new events, a new scene with Scout, and a handful of fixes and little adjustments.

Alpha 2.3

Added

• Hire adventurers for jobs out in the forest. 
• Build outposts out in the forest that allow multi-day jobs
• New Events
• New Event Art
• New art for lucy hanging around the inn during winter
• Ellie's research leads to alternate versions of the detonate spell.
• Ellie's research leads to Lucy being able to crit with her mana dart spell
• New Sex Scene (Scout)

*NOTE* - If you are on an old save and are past the fall, so long as Ailis is in your party the new outpost features will be available

Adjustments

• Scenes with scout don't reduce your stamina as much
• Replaced sword SFX

Fixes

• Forvalaka hunting is no lunger free
• A Prologue option was handing out the wrong rewards
• Various Typos

The next version, 2.4, has quite a few bug fixes in it. This is a list of them in case you come across any in this build:

2.4 Fixes

• Outpost supplies don't get used on the first day of adventurer jobs
• Cancelling dice on lucy's spells was breaking her crits
• Possible to go into negative gold buying loot from adventurers after they returned from a job
• Scout teleporting you out of a fight would cost Lucy Fracture
• Road danger was syncing immediately after patrols, causing an early game delay on quest completion 
• Haste potions weren't applying properly to agility weapons
• Scout's Feed skill could increase her blood pool beyond its maximum
• Some morning events weren't killing the morning action menu properly
• Various typos
